I recently moved and were happy to have a fireplace. But being new to fireplaces we didn't realize the extent to which it just sucked heat out of our room and actually reduced the temperature. So I went online and learned about fireplace fans and heat exchangers. At first I ordered a fanless model but I talked to Hastyheat and given my needs they modified the order to this model which includes a fan. I've been using it for a couple of months now and am very happy with it. Even though I am new to fireplaces it has been easy to use. Just make sure to always keep the fan on when the fire is on. I haven't had any issues and every time I have used it I've measured temperature increases of 3-4 degrees in about an hour which is exactly what I was hoping for. This model also gives peace of mind in case our gas heat ever went out. The fan doesnt draw much power so I could easily run it off my Jackery battery generator if it came to that. Good to have that backup plan. Very happy with the unit overall and with Hastyheat customer service.

This would really help us in updating our fireplace insert item listing to portray just how these fireplace grates installed appearance.
