I hadn't told my wife about this purchase. When it got in, seeing the enormous size of the 30DGR20TD, my wife was not very happy to say the least... We live in Dallas, TX, where winters are fairly mild but temperature can swing from very low to high. Once I started firing it up, she was a believer! Now, even when in the 50's she asks me to make a fire :-) I ended up buying the ask tray pan which I would recomment to everyone as it is too cumbersome to lift and clean up under the grate. The item is built like a tank. we love it!

First unit was a little small for our fireplace, but did such a good job that we decided to get the bigger unit that our fireplace would accommodate and just got it and boy does it ever put out the heat. Glad we got the bigger unit. Recommend these units and the seller to anyone looking for a fireplace blower unit.
