Spent a lot of time trying to find ways to use the heat from my masonry fireplace for the house. Most heat goes up out of the chimney leaving it more of a decorative thing to have going. Having a fire also chills the house as it uses the house air to fuel it… so that was an issue as my electric heat had to keep working.
Then I found this manner jammer in late 2021.
~2200 sqft, two story colonial.
Put in this and we sit inside in our 70 degree downstairs while it’s below freezing outside. I turn the “vent only” on for the air conditioner so it sucks in the warm air from the living room and pushes to the house (upstairs). It’s not fool proof as upstairs can be chilly (maybe 63-65) which is fine for me as we have blankets!
Only critique is about me: I wish I purchased the double fan / double barrel as I think that would push more hot air and maybe up the stairs (heat rises, right?!). But, this unit is amazing! Great to see variable fan is now included.
Also- customer service is what all companies should model. Couldn’t be happier with this. Pay for it and you’ll have no regrets. Not even one letter!
