This 6" diameter Chimney flue pipe heat exchanger replaces one 24" long section of chimney pipe for wood stoves. As per firecode male end is bottom, female is top. We reccomend you install with and use a slip joint pipe on the top of this heat exchanger to simplify inspection, maintenance, and cleaning. The use of a damper above is optional.
